was going to share this just needed a couple min. same coral with different results. this is not about taking picture just some images to compair the differnt way that the coral looks in differnt tanks and lightings as well as polyp extention.

some shots of my ORA yellow fuzzy, yes i know it looks green in my lights. in my buddy'a frag tank its more yellow and has better polyp extension so makes a good compairison.

this is what is looked like months, not sure how many, after i got it.

This is great information for people to see. When us vendor explain to people that the coral may look different under there lighting compared to the photos that are taken many people just dont believe it.

ya, that is one reason i posted it. a lot of poeple kept asking why it was called a yellow fussy when it was green in my tank. i do like that yellow look of it and is why i picked it as my first sps. the sad thing is, its not yellow in my lights but looks great in the other tank.

This is a reason i like to trade with local reefers whos tanks i can see on a regular basis. Its amazing what a browned out coral can do in your buddies tank sometimes or vise versa. Different conditions, even though the tests and everything check out pretty much the same from tank to tank, can really affect the same coral in a big way.
