@Marco@GHLUSA - I did both the firmware upgrade on the P4, and the Expansion Two box, and still not being seen within the Expansion Box.

Hi

please assign PAB (again), ProfiLux scans then the available resources and adds them (here it will find analog and digital inputs)

You will see the analog inputs then under "sensors"
The system tree view will NOT change.

@Matthias Gross - I went in and did the PAB assign again.

Ok, I have two new sensors Voltage 1 and Voltage 2, does this mean the ADIN is now online?

I see no change in the digital input I can not enable any of them.

yes

they are always enabled, you can't enable/disable the input

the inputs are low active, which means you must pull them to GND (of PLM-ADIN)

@Matthias Gross - any idea how number 2 got enabled?

How do I determine the digital inputs that are used in the expansion box? Is it the. 8-16?

Thank you for all the help!!

Edited my post to be more specific questions :)

no, but I don't know your setup. Floating (or open) pins mean not activated (no check mark)
When you pull the connector out of the PLM-ADIN the check mark must disappear.

First are the ProfiLux onboard cards: If there is a PLM-ADIN then you have 1-4
next are the PLM-ADIN in EXB(s), in this case 5-8 for the first EXB (or 1-4 if there is no PLM-ADIN in P4)

@Matthias Gross - Thank you for the detailed response. Tonight I will pull the cable out and run some test.

@Vinny@GHLUSA - when the avast barrel is connected should I see barrel high or barrel low enabled when the water is high or low in the digital inputs.

@Matthias Gross - I pulled the cable and 2 no longer shows enabled. So I am going to play to see if I can figure out what pins went where on my Avast Barrel Tender, thank you for all the help.

Any idea why I can no longer hit configuration on my serial box anymore? I wanted to change my salinity port reading setting and keeps stating failure to connect 28?

Not directly related to the PL-ADIN card, but I wish to add a float sensor to my skimmer cup. The issue I have with the PL-0077 sensor is the size hole I would need to drill to pass the wire through.

Is it possible to buy a float sensor with bare wires and connect it to a Mini-Din connector? If so, is the pinout thats required documented anywhere?

Would I really need a PL-ADIN to do this?

why don't you just cut the PL-0077 cable and connect the wire ends again after you put the cable through the hole?

I could do that. How many wires would I need to solder @Matthias Gross (assuming when I cut them they will all be a different colour)? IF I was to do that I would also look at maybe putting a connector so I could disconnect the skimmer lid from the Profilux I guess.
