My tank is 1 year old rock has been running for 1year 4 months. All dry rock with some live rock.
Running ats my nutrients stayed to low even if I feed alot. The uglys came and went then binos showed up and my coral did not like it. So I went lights out for a few days and they subsided but still covered a couple corals in the light . I blew it off with turkey baster every day. Turned off my ats but it would not go away .
So I got dino x I am at my 5th dose with 5 to go . No water change no activated carbon no gfo. Is to be done but my phosphates are at.28ppm I am starting to worry.
I do not see any dinos at all but . If I stop now will they come back. Do I stop and take care of the high phosphates or do I keep going with the dosing. The tank looks very good. And corals are ok . Light are on 6 hours a day. Per instructions.
120 gallon
Alk. 8.2
Phosphares. .28
Nitrates 10
Mag. 1350
Cal. 380
Ph. 8

I would add microbactor7 to help with the biodiversity as you are probably lacking this and use Phosphate Rx to help lower the Phosphates.

Super quick within a day I saw the difference ....I keep my light on a Blue photoperiod on my Radion blue G5.... I notice the AB+ light schedule helps Dino to multiply

there shouldn't be anything about Dino X use that prevents you from lowering PO4 to a modest level (by water changes etc. - I'd avoid GFO while worried about dinos.)

I got some neophos started my nitrates are 4.5. I think they are good my phosphate with ats is. 00
I dose 9ml last night . Have to test at 3pm today see where I'm at.
