Dinos at night?

So, I have been battling what I thought was Dinos but I noticed something last night...I'm normally asleep when my lights turn off but last night I had to go out and take my dog to the bathroom and I noticed that at night it appears like where the red/maroonish Dinos are during the day turns a green haze at night? Like a normal Algae. Is that normal? I mean, they look like Dinos when the lights are on, the classic stringy snot, bubbly look. I just want to make sure I am diagnosing it correctly. I did a test and I had extremely low if not un-readable amounts of Nitrate and Phosphate (my new tank).

Had the same thing. I was starving the tank for nutrients I was told. I shut off the slimmer for a few days, over fed and added Dr. Tim’s waste away liquid then the 30 day gel. I vacuumed out really good and did a few WC’s. All good now.

My tank really hated Waste away. I tried dosing it a few times and got HUGE bacterial blooms. Made my coral and Anemones super mad. I got a UV Sterilizer (will be here today) to hopefully help a bit. I just though Dinos disappear INTO the sand and INTO the water at night. Turning green though?

Are dinos supposed to turn green at night or am I miss diagnosing my tank?

It is red, slimy and bubbly during the day, and turns green at night.

Doesn't look like dinos to me... more like cyano.

I hav seen a video recently and that was about cyano but looked like the same.
