Separate question, my "compact fluorescent" blue actinic light seems to be not as blue as it did before. Is it already time to replace it? 3-1/2 months old.

That's what I originally thought however read that most people out there power head between the inlets on the back wall. It didn't work for me so I moved it to the side of the tank and honestly haven't been happy with it there neither.
Wow! Never heard of someone keeping the white lites for 8 hours, I keep mine for almost 5 hoursI may have them on too long.
My blue light is on from 9am-9pm
White is on from 11am-7pm
Moonlight is on from 9pm-12am
Lights out from 12am-9am
