Possible but not likely. 6-6 1/2 months should be the change time on both bulbs.

You'll never really know by looking at it. You would need a par meter to have any true results to go by.

I was thinking it looks pretty good for a young tank. Keep cleaning and doing water changes. You don't need to go crazy with the light since you don't have coral. Just make sure you have completed a full cycle. If not you'll have problems for a little bit. It will get easier, then harder again. It's always something. Maybe do a 10% water change every week instead of the 25% every other week. Remember the basics. Good water, good flow and good maintenance. Keeping stuff clean old fish food and poop cause more issues then anything. Good luck and stick with it. I thought about quitting once but I'm glad I didn't. There's nothing better then the passion of reefing.

Tank looks like it is coming along well. Have you considered moving your pump to the opposite side to stir things up a bit?

You can always switch it back but I would recommend the power head on the side with your return. It makes the water swirl in a direction to benefit the filter inlets.

That's what I originally thought however read that most people out there power head between the inlets on the back wall. It didn't work for me so I moved it to the side of the tank and honestly haven't been happy with it there neither.

I moved my powerhead around a lot before I found a place that optimized water flow and benefits my corals. Its a hit or miss with some aquascapes.

I may have them on too long.

My blue light is on from 9am-9pm
White is on from 11am-7pm
Moonlight is on from 9pm-12am
Lights out from 12am-9am

Wow! Never heard of someone keeping the white lites for 8 hours, I keep mine for almost 5 hours
