diy red dragon help

Well here is the deal I sold my BK supermariner 300 and I am left with my spare 1500 motor block and the red dragon impeller. I have tried to sell it with no luck so I want to use the pump on a skimmer I am wanting to build. I dont have the valute or or the venture for the pump that went with the skimmer. Has anyone had any luck making on that works good . Any help would be great since all the ones I have made for it have not worked that well.
