diy sump build

hi guys,

gonna do a diy sump in a 20 gallon long. gonna get glass cut at local glass shop. anybody have any good diagrams or videos for a build. i will be using a hang on back skimmer so dont neccisarilly need a skimmer chamber.

I would 100% get a skimmer inside the sump.
Then all you really need is a skimmer chamber, three pieces of glass cut to use for a bubble trap, and then a return pump chamber. Unless you plan on trying to squeeze a little fuge in the sump.

I’m about to build mine this weekend as well. I just don’t have a skimmer or cash to buy one right now I did just ended up spending on other crap. So lol thinking of trying live rock and rubble in one chamber maybe chaeto second chamber or media reactor then return chamber. What about that?
