Im starting to notice amphipodd eat algae. Part of the reason i have no pest algae growing is due to my 4 tangs and foxface. But i noticed amphipods also eat it.

I can have frags im floating in my isolating floating box to keep them away from the rocks while they grow out a little. And the frags will grow algae on them like thr plug and so forth.

If i take them and put them on the rock overnight. Lights off. Thr frags will be squeeky clean. Its interesting. I watched this at night and sure enough i had amphipodd eating the algae. I think these guy over my fish are the main reason i have no pest algae growing anywhere but locations they cant get too lol

Yes they do like their greens.
