Currently I have a SC aquarium 32x24x24 with a G4 XR30 light mounted with their mounting arm. It is supposed to cover a 24x24 area and has worked for a year currently. Eventually I want to be able to have some SPS once I get all my parameters in check. Do I need another light? I was thinking I could do a XR15 or another XR30 next to the XR30. Not sure how much spill over I would have. any advice would be good!

Everything looks good so far! I would hold off on another light and experiment first. Try one of the easier SPS coral like a Bali Slimer, Pavona, Porites or Montipora and see how they do. They will let you know if your light is ideal or not. But as you say water flow and parameters need to be in check as well as temp. Stability.

Wanting to order a custom lid to keep jumpers down. Lost a Bartlett anthias that I loved and found my diamond goby in my sump a few weeks ago. Just want to plan ahead and get the right lid with the right cut for RMS lighting.
