Mixture of coral frenzy, Reef chillie, Marine Snow, HOmemade mixture with pellets flakes, etc, Mysis, and Squid.
I feed the bigger paly meaty pieces and the smaller ones ive found to love the jucies. Squirt it onto the coral and theyll close up on the little particles. Make sure not to blow the jucies on the zoas to hard or theyll just close of all the direct flow.
i feed them with cyclopeeze and phytofeast mixture and small amt rods food. some of the larger ones will close up on the meatier pieces. when they feel it on themselves a lot of them will close up to get some of it. others i have smaller reg. zoos a lot of times dont really seem to do much. but i try to feed them anyway i feed them 3x a week with a squirter when i do all the corals.
It is real easy to find out if they eat or not. Just set food on them with pumps off so it doesn't blow away and the polyp will close around it if it lets go it doesn't eat if the food is gone when it opens it eats. A simple but effective test.
I do every couple of days. Some grow faster than others. The Palys seem to eat everything, but the Zoas don't. My NG's, PD's, RPE's, Nightmares, Mohawks all eat.
I have some that will accept and some that wont. I dont spot feed em, just put in cyclopeeze for the fish and mysis and whatever lands on em, they get to eat...if the nass snails dont take it. My armageddons eat like acans though, just not as fast.
I'm gonna sit tight for now. I'm not feeding. I may individually trial different things as this tank is an experimental system for me anyway. Should be cool research.
