I'm just wondering if anyone ever bothers to gives their fish names? Thought about it, but there doesn't seem to be much of a point to it. My girlfriend has been on my case of me referring to my fish as 'they/them/it', and don't name them. She ended up calling my lemonpeel angel Mr. Snicket.

I don't name my fish. Between my tanks I could never remember them all anyway. That being said, My father gave my melanarus wrasse a name. He named it Russel. He is the only fish I have that has a name. He is also the only fish to have survived both an ich and a velvet outbreak in the past. Coincidence?.....

Of course. There is Sunny the yellow tang, Sir Chops a Lot the diamond goby, Yoshi the yasha hasha goby, Sherbet the lyretail anthias, Linda and Charlie the clowns, Lizzy the dragon pipefish, dumbo and dumbo jr the fighting conchs
Linda and Charlie! Ha! Nice

All of my fish get named after they've been around long enough to prove they can play nice with others. My two newest fish recently earned their names. Punkin the filefish, and Janice (Joplin) the midas blennie. Needless to say, they're pretty proud.
