Seems that my new fish gets sick more often then not . I even started using icy treatment as prophylaxis .Does dipping help? If yes, any paticular dip solution is better?

Dipping fish won't directly help with the Ich, but it can help prevent secondary infections in the tiny wounds caused by the parasite. Acriflavine is probably the best, which can be found in Acrivlavine-MS and Ruby Reef Rally.

The next best option, imo, would be something containing Methylene Blue. If going this route, Nitrofuracin Green Powder can be good because it also contains Furan-2 which is an antibiotic.
