On LA just messing around, would this work in a 180?

Best luck would be adding them all at the same time.
Be aware that coris wrasses will go after snails, hermits, clams and other inverts (like its their job)

Yeah this group would be going in at the same time, but will want more wrasse down the line so hoping these guys will get along well with others. Also yeah I know the corris is a gamble, so pretty though ha.

The coris wrasse will also move rocks and corals not solidly secured. They also get really big. I've thought of it myself but I think there are better wrasse choice in my size(same as yours) tank.

They are gorgeous as adults though.

I took him off the list actually, like you said plenty of other choices...

Gosh, in a tank the size of yours there are tons of choices. How much of your money can we spend?:D

In the moderately expensive range, I like C. rhomboidalis, C. jodani, C. laboutei (which you already have on your list) C. lineatus and C. isoscoles. C. aurantidorsalis is nice and not expensive at all. If you want to spend a bit more....C. earlei.

Flashers? I like the two you have plus P. flavianalis and rubricaudalis. I also like P. lineopunctatus, though lots of people don't. P. angulatus is also nice. If you open the wallet, P. attenuatus is one of my favorites. I'm not willing to spend a bunch on flashers because they just don't seem to live as long as other wrasses but I will gladly pay for one of those.

Don't forget about leopards (I have a Potter's and love him). There also a bunch of Halichoeres wrasse that would go ok with the above.

Look around and see what you like, 'cause ultimately what you like is all that matters. Check for compatibility or post here, we are blessed with a couple of the most knowledgeable guys around when in comes to wrasses.

Bumping this, have this list made up and just wondering if this would all work?

Going to change that pink fairy to a small female...cheaper.

Good luck on C. rubrimarginatus female, quality marine has sent me four of them, all of them ended up C. plyei.

Nice list, but ruby head and blue head might be a conflict and rhomboid/ pink margin might be an issue.

Good luck,

What would the pink conflict with?

I guess I also should add I have a mccoskers and carpenter in the tank currently, 180 gallon.

Make sure you put some sort of cover or netting over your tank. I had a Timor Wrasse jump last week. Really bummed out about it. I knew it was a risk and didn’t heed the warnings.
