I know the DOS works great for AWC long distances and I plan on doing it from my garage for this purpose. But I am curious if anyone uses it for dosing Alk/Calc etc from the garage as well since it is much smaller dosages than a water change would there be any issues? It will be about 10' vertical and 25' horizontal to reach the dosing containers. I am just looking to save some space under the cabinet.

If primed correctly I see there being no issues with this. I have some huge runs on mine. Just need to keep an eye on the temperature as your alkalinity additive may crystallise. I use the Red Sea additive and at low enough temperatures it gets bad for this and can block your lines.

@ReefRondo Its what I thought but just wanted to double check
