I'm planning to QT soon and was wondering if Copper can be dosed directly into the QT tank? Or does it with water changes?

What copper medication are you using and what copper test kit do you have?

I have Copper Power and the Hanna Checker.

You can dose that directly into the QT. What you should do is calculate a full dose using the net volume of the QT, then add one half of that amount, let it circulate for a few hours and test with the Hanna meter. Then, based on the results, you add the portion estimated to bring the copper up to 2.25 ppm, add that, then let it circulate overnight and confirm the results the next day.

Thank you. I'll do it that way then.
