I know chemistry isn't everyone's interest or area of strength.
99% of the questions in the chemistry forum have already been asked and answered, and sometimes it is just a matter of knowing where or how to look up the answer if it isn't something that is readily apparent to me or whoever is answering.

With that tankload id start with small frequent water changes with a good salt and no dosing and do regular water testing to establish whether dosing is required and go from there.
