Should I buy a new tank. You pushed too hard on the drill as it was close to the end. It's more than just a small flake, it looks like some chunks almost 1/4 of the glass thickness are missing.
Normally I'd say just use plenty of silicone grease to make sure the gaskets make a decent seal, but I've circled the part that would worry me. I could see that growing into a stress crack and compromising the whole side pane.

What kind of tank is that? It looks long and skinny. Is it a 55? If it's something common and more or less cheap, then yeah I'd say replace it.Should I buy a new tank.
I’ll do that with my next drill never heard of it tho. This is why besides applying very little pressure I've always clamped a piece of plywood to the bottom of the hole. Never had an issue with chip outs or dropping piece of glass.

If it's a more expensive tank, maybe wait for a consensus on whether or not it's likely to rupture, but we're just the internet, you're the one that has to be able to sleep at night.
Unfortunately, the bulkhead doesn't do anything to help the integrity of the glass. If it's gonna blow out, the bulkhead won't stop it.If the bulkhead covers the crack completely does it still have a high risk of cracking in the future.

+1I would seal the bulkheads with silicone and test first. But I wouldn't be afraid to use the current tank.
