So I was cleaning my reef today and managed to drop a razor blade in and cant find it. How screwed am I? Do I need to remove my rock and find it? How much damage will rust cause? Thanks.

I would say you need to get it out. Run the back of a power head through the sand if it's magnetic to grab it. If not I would say you would eventually need to remove the rocks to find it, it depends on the material of the razor blade on how long that would take for it to rust. Don't let it!

Uh pple have sometimes hung nails in their overflows to provide iron. Rust isn't bad. Pple put GFO (granulated ferric oxide, or rust) in their tanks to remove phosphates. The blade is probably stainless anyway which means mostly nickel. Don't sweat it.

Well, Im just kind of a worry wart so I would try to get it out.
I have a pair of tweezers that are about 12 inches long that I found on Ebay. I would probably try to rubberband a magnet to the end and go magnet fishing.

Well I wish I would have read this before removing some rock, what you said makes sense but after an hour I found it! Thanks everyone.

Glad you found it.. I would of wanted it out either way. My luck I see something in the sand and cut myself :)
