Does anybody know what are the best conditons for keeping duncans. I bought one yesterday, it has not fully extended it looks like it is still a little shrunk. What type of flow and light do they like?

I have mine in medium flow under a 250w Radium. It sits on the bottom of a 14.5" tank with a 3" sandbed.

Did they take a day or two to acclimate to new surroundings. Mine is on the bottom of a 24" deep tank with 150w HQI's. I would say medium flow next to all my blasto wellsis.

Sweet duncan Chris! You're back from the wedding?

Haven't left yet. :) I don't leave here until 3pm. I figured I'd post some more while packing up my equipment. What can I say.... I'M ADDICTED!!!

Well, something in my tank decided to pull it from the sand and take it under a rock with them. There was slime everywhere, but I can still see it inside. I hope it did not kill it. I have to find out what is pulling out frag plugs?

I have mine in my prop tank that is 12" deep and they are being blasted with high flow and the light intensity is really high. I have 2 250Watt Phoneix bulbs that are about 12" from the water surface. I have the ORA variety and a wild Australian variety even greener than the ORA'S and they have been growing 3-6 heads a month. And I dont even spot feed them

chris
duncans will accept wide range of conditions and in your case just give them some time
