i originally tried a Pin Goniopora on my rock ledge. After 4 days it wouldn’t open, so I moved it to the bottom and within a few hours the polyps came out. They aren’t very extended, kinda close to skeleton, but I think that’s just the kind I got... not sure, but it looks happy now.

So I got a Duncan to put in its place. Acclimated it this morning and stuck it on my side shelf out into the light on its side.

Went to work and when I got home 1 head was half out and the other was out. They are on their side though. The tentacles ? just hang limply and t makes me wonder if it needs to be upright. I also see no movement.

Not sure if it’s still “tense” or if I just need to ramp up the flow. It may also just need a few days to settle in.

My main question is should I stand it up?

Whats the intensity of your light? My Duncan lows medium flow and high light.

Is everything else happy? I would give it a day or three to acclimate to the new spot.

I have an ai prime HD. It’s probably right at top 2/3 of the tank.

Everything else is just fine.
