AI Prime is a superior light for sure. If you are wanting something cheaper the Hipagero is good. The buttons didnt bother me because I did not touch it much once I set the intensity. YouTuber Innapropriate Reefer used it on a series called $146 budget reef that is pretty well known if you want to see more of it. I wouldnt put a Philzon or any other 165w black box on a 10g. I have a 2 165w on my 75g and they are great but very large. You would also need to buy/build a mount for the 165w or hang it from the celing. The Haipagero comes with a mount bracket and is much smaller.

Do I need coraline algae in my tank too?

Mushrooms all day long.
I pretty much cycled and still am cycling my 8 month old system with alot of the higher end shrooms available.
Mine have mostly been through the cycle.
Floods and salinity swings off the charts.
Broken heaters and temp swings ranging by 8 degrees.
Nitrate Nuke.
You name it ive pretty much put my shrooms through it all.
Believe it or not its been the higher end Rhodactis Bounce collector shrooms that have been the hardiest.
Do not reccomend Jawbreakers or Ricordias im finding they are the pickiest.
Just be careful which ones you choose as they are pretty much indestructible and you will be stuck with them until the end

Do I need coraline algae in my tank too?

It will grow from coral frag plugs you buy or sometimes snails. It only grows once your dry rock matures enough to support it (at least 6months + prob). No need to add, definitely not an early concern.

I personally recommend Toadstool corals! Come in many varieties and extremely hardy and fast growing. Really cool to look at and clowns have been known to host them when an anemone is not preset. Then again mine hosts the front corner of the tank...
