Ebay buying

What you have to watch out for is this: Say you go to Reef Pets (very good seller by the way, I have bought from him) and you bid on several corals so that you can make the order worth your while when it comes to shipping. At the closing of the auction you have been out bid on all your corals, save one, and that coral cost you 10 bucks or less. That 10 bucks turns into 35 bucks when you factor in the shipping.
You just have to keep that shipping cost in the back of your mind before placing a bid. One side note, lol, if reef pets would put more corals on his web site, he would get alot more of my money.

Sorry if this has ever happened to you! By all means if you miss out on something just let me know the auction number and there is a good chance that I will have more of the same coral. This way you never have to worry about spending a ton of money for one or two coral.
I would have to say that out of all of the coral that I have posted on eBay I have 4+ more frags of each one. So, if you bid and miss out just let me know, guaranteed I can fill the box with coral that you want.

As for the site, it sucks!! This is why I have not messed with it. When I say it sucks I mean the site itself. But, the good news is that the site is getting redesigned and I should have at least 100 or more frags on there at a time once its complete.

How the site is designed now it takes me about 15 mintues to add one item..... I really planned on keeping a lot of coral on the site but with the current program it has been impossible. That will change in the very near future. All that needs to be done on the new site is the graphics, trying to find someone to do that...

i can speek highly of 3 sellers on ebay...
one is reef pets..has offered me second chances a few times..plus the packing of the coral is super slick!!! bought from like 3-4 times now
another is reef empire...another great seller...bought from twice now
and the third and my fav so far is aquatic collection (ebay name josephlee17) corals are on the larger side and most are farmed in the ocean (saving the real reefs :) )

so far my dealings with rare corals have ben on the poor side....the people are nice but out of 15 or so coral i have gotten from them only 3 are still alive....i follow them on another site (reefbuzz) and they post up new frags every day...they are all fresh cut. no time to heal befor they ship them out...granted i love the coral they post but they could care for them little better instead of the just came in..just went out thing..

just my thoughts

I think almost every sponsor from this board that has a "long" track record selling on ebay you cant go wrong with. Any of them would make good on any problems and all have very nice stock to choose from.
