Anyone? Looking to pick up a wp25 but, from what I understand, even with the flow turned all c the way down, it still may be too much for my 20 gallon.

It may be a bit much, but it may not. I'd throw it in there and see. The more flow the merrier.

I think you mean a controller not a dimmer. There are lots of controllers out there to control your powerheads.

No, I mean dimmer. A controller is further down the line. From what I understand, the wp25 can be a little much for smaller tanks and I read somewhere about using an in line dimmer for finer voltage control. Just curious if anyone had tried the ecoxotic dimmer for this application.

I tried one on my reefbrite xho to see if they would work and it did not. I got ecoxotics on my 65 and 30 and reefbrites on the 120

I think it'll be too much flow without reducing the voltage. I have one in my BC29 and have it running at 15v, now the flow is perfect. You can get a laptop power supply with adjustable voltage or just get a 12-24v LED dimmer off ebay for 5 bucks. Can also get em on Amazon.
