Elegance dying please help

Okay so I have had this elegance for a while now and it’s always been really receded all of my other corals seem happy. Maybe it’s from all the alge but I can’t tell. Maybe it’s getting too much lighting?

can be too much flow as well.
or the nitrate/phosphate is too low.
you could try to put the coral in the sandbed , they like that.

A lot of people struggle with elegance corals (myself included). They don’t seem to be ideal for a mixed reef as they like very little flow and low lighting and they recede easily for long periods if anything bugs them making them difficult to feed. Not all of them of course- some people have no problems. For me they have been one of the more difficult corals to keep in a tank where everything else was thriving and I gave up.
