Elegance frag

I've bought an Elegance coral frag mounted on a disk. Should I plant it on a substrate as it is or cut it of the disk?

I personally would leave it on the disc if it's easy to place where you want it without removing it. Elegance have a conical base skeleton so it CAN be removed if you want/need, but if you don't want/need to, there is no harm in leaving it attached to base.
