Hello all as you can see in my picture I’m still fighting gha but like to think I’m winning. But today my engineer gobies that I’ve had for close 2 years are out and about swimming when the light is on and off. They’ve always hid and only come out partially to eat and odd occasions out fully. But like i said they are completely out now I’ve tested salt and all other parameters 3 times before coming here just to be sure. Has anyone else encountered this? They don’t seemed stressed or distraught in any way. Any help is appreciated. Thank you

Well one of my heaters was really hot and the cord was warm also. Thank you for saving my fish and my house lol. Thank you for the quick reply it is greatly appreciate I’ll let you know how the tank is in the morning
Whew! Anytime !

I have 2 engineer gobies too. Have had them for almost 2 years. Very rarely I'll get to see one swimming like that while the other one watches. I always thought it was just the male doing the sexy dance for the female. Doesn't happen often, and he always goes back to his lair pretty quickly.

They hide always and come out to quickly feed. Glad you found issue

Yeah that’s what usually happens and has been like that forever. They have been my hardiest fish honestly. But today they have both passed. And now my clown has the 75 gal all to himself

Sorry for your loss. Have you determined the cause? Do you think it was the heater?
Thank you. I was hoping that was the problem. But the clown fish is still ok. So I’m unsure. But i had immediately taken it out. So at this point I’m unsure but will investigate further

I brought a group of five 3days ago two died the first night and one the next, from the skin loss it looks due to fighting/bites but the last owner said they have been fine the last year he’s had them and that all come without any marks. So confused what’s happened any help would be greatly appreciated
