I want to get a bunch of evansi anthias (like 8 to 10) and want to quarantine them. I only have a 10-gallon quarantine tank... is that large enough? Thank you for any advice.

That would be a ton of fish in a 10g tank. I would suggest investing in something like a 40 breeder at minimum for a QT to fit a large group of fish.

Definitely not, unless you dont like to feed your fish well and enjoy daily water changes.

Are you aware that evansi are extremely tricky to keep? Maybe not quite purple queen (Tuka) tricky, but close. They require many daily feedings of small foods, and even then many don't eat and even fewer last. They also do poorly with larger, boisterous tank mates.

Ca1ore,

Are Evansi really purple with orange dorsal stripe contrast like Tuka? Or do they look just like Carberryi, sunset, resplendent blends do in real life?
