Not much more to add. Water changes to get parameters in check and carbon to remove toxins.

I would slow down stocking . I'm guessing this is a newer setup and you have some difficult to keep animals.

Get tha ammonia in check first. It needs to be and stay at zero
It is a newer setup, 7 months now. So far only lost one coral beauty until today. Thanks for the advice.

After wc, do you have any bottled bacteria on hand? I like mb7 personally but if you have a stand by I'd add some to help the ammonia along, can't hurt.
I do, I have a few different types. I've been faithfully using seachem stability since the initial setup and cycling.

Thanks for all the advice, working on water change now. Waiting on RO/DI water, was unprepared and did not have any made already. I've been using Seachem Stability since the tank was setup 7 months ago.

What does everyone recommend as a proven success for bacteria? Will probably be switching, but I will take all advice I can get.

Wish you luck hopefully carbon water changes will get things turned around.
Let’s see if get some #reefsquad suggestions a well
Agreed. Carbon and WC. You need to get whatever that is killing your stocks in tank out of the system. May i ask how old is your tank?

Don’t beat yourself up over this incidence. You had lost only one coral in the last 7 months and that’s actually pretty impressive! I don’t think you are doing anything wrong ( but i am also just a beginner ) . This is probably just bad luck because of the dead anemone just spiked ammonia and/or other toxin to a level this overwhelmed your filtration system. Just be a bit careful with anemone in the future. you are onto a good start! keep reefing!

fwiw, I think you're confusing ph and alkalinity.

Carbonate hardness is the same thing as alkalinity and can be expressed in meq/l or dkh. online tools can convert between the measures for you. Dkh is most common on here probably. If you seriously have 16dkh, that is danger high. Perhaps your corals have stopped consuming bc of this crisis and your daily dose has driven it way up.

ph is what you can influence by blowing into your skimmer hose. Typical ranges are maybe 7.8 - 8.4
