So I have taken all my fish out my tank and put them in QT with CP treatment for ich/velvet my question is what up keep do I need to do for my display tank with just live sand and live rock ?? water changes at 10% weekly ? lights ? protine skimmer ? wave makers ? phantom feeding? any help would be appreciated!

Run the display tank as normal. Stirring the sand helps to prevent parasites from going dormant within anaerobic areas of the tank's sand bed. Can feed corals as usual. Just no fish or adding anything "wet" to the tank during the fallow period.

thanks for your advice, I dont have any corals so should I still ghost feed ?

no corals?? I would ghost feed and turn off my lights or run them very short time a day to help keep off allgae and save a little electricity.

The good bacteria in the tank need some light and a small bit of food to keep things humming along. Occasional water changes and other maintenance is good too.
