Hello,
I know this topic has been discussed, but one thread will say one thing, and the other will say another.

Do feather dusters eat Zooplankton or Phytoplankton?

Do they eat only live? Do they not care?

What size of food do they need?

All of these are hotly debated for some reason, and I don’t know what to do. I want some feather dusters, what on Earth should I feed them?
Thanks,
Slapp

I believe they’ll eat anything that is of a particulate size. Whether it be phyto or zooplankton. I have one that I’ve had for a few years and it’s in my sump. I haven’t fed it ever. It lives off of whatever makes its way to the sump. I do add liquid non-living phyto and zooplankton to my display. If you’re worried about it starving, just feed your tank.

It’s a bad pic but thought I’d share. It’s in a lonely corner and I don’t get to enjoy it. And because of this thread, I checked on it.
