I have a torch that has a feather duster of some sort right in the center of it. It recently split and the new head has also got one. Thinking about super gluing the opening of both of them. Would this be safe?

Thanks

Looks like pyrgomatid barnacles. I have one in my torch as well. Neat little things in my opinion.

They are usually harmless unless you notice the torch not expanding as fully.

The center is clustered up and only the edges extend. I've only had it about a week 1/2 maybe so it's not at it's fullest yet. But the new head that split looks like its getting pushed same as the center of the torch
