Hi,

I'm tired of fight with dichtya..... I remove it by hands and 15 days later i have to remove again and again.... I've a 1 Dolabella auricularia and 1 Tripneustes gratilla (in 300L) but i don't see improvement... Is anyone who have successfully beat this sh....

Thanks

Fred

I have beaten dictyota about ten times in the reefcentral peroxide thread and the old 3 reef ones. Its highly susceptible to peroxide use, as most macroalgae invasions are, and we can apply that in a way that harms no collaterals. post pics of whole tank/scan for collateral sensitives. you would ideally take out one test rock and simply dump peroxide from a new bottle across the targets, avoiding corals, wet them, and let it sit out in the air 4 mins then rinse and put back in, don't harm the algae physically we're gauging what raw perox w do

watch that rock for signs of awesomeness. we can likely dose the tank and save you removing all rocks, but that test ideal is needed first

ok thanks for you answer. There's a lot of algae around a lot of corals.... What i know, is i will set up a new tank in 6 weeks (470L) in, i'll have to restart with news dry rock, no more live rock in this tank. All the frags will be without rock to try to avoid this pests (all the pests :) :) )...
