I finally was able to put water in my 55 gallon tank

You should get a build thread going in the Members Reef Tanks section!

Just a note, fish may easily get sucked into your overflow (I'm assuming it is the left bulkhead) which may cause a blockage and the display to overflow. May want to do some test runs or get a float switch to cutoff power to the return if it does get to high.

I am aware about the overflow I’m going to be buying a strainer for it very soon this was only temporary
 
Awesome feeling when you finally get water in the tank. I like your improvised hose clamp.

Did you leave packing material in the bubble trap down in the sump? It looked like you had pieces of styrofoam between the glass baffles - I couldn't zoom the picture.
