Fish rubbing on stuff

My Midas Blenny and my two Clowns have been rubbing in the rock and sand. There is no visible white spots like ich. They are eating and for the most part look and act normal. What could it be and how do you treat it ?

Have you tested for ammonia lately? Are there any other abnormal spots or flukes on the skin?

Looking closer....the clowns appear to have white marks on the edge of their fins. The Blenny looks like he may have a few also.

There are inverts in the tank.
I have a small 5 gallon tank I
can use to treat if needed.

Well, I'd say remove them into quarantine if you can. You can't do much in the display tank with inverts present.

I would treat with Coppersafe. If it is ich or velvet, the copper will take care of it.

This is something I've been worried about lately. Not so much fish as they get quarantined with copper, but inverts that are harder to proactively treat.

Setup a fishless frag tank, and place all new corals/inverts in there for 76 days.

You don't need to feed the corals. And an ATO will handle any evaporation.

Yes the clowns are new and a shrimp goby pair are new. I can catch the clowns. There's no way I can catch the shrimp goby pair.

You did the right thing. Do you have a copper test to ensure the copper stays in the therapeutic range?
