Most of my fish bite/nip at me - pair of semilarvatus butterflies, moorish idol, dogface puffer, pair of tinkeri butterflies, goldflake angel, even my regal angel. It's my fault though since I feed them by hand quite often. They mainly bite/nip because they think my fingers/hand/arm are food, not because they are being territorial.
One day you are going to stick your hand in there for maintenance and that puffer is going to take a finger off!!

Well, my tangs all bite at me, when my fingers are in for food time. But they don't really bite me so much as give me little nips to say, "hey, feed me". They bite my fingers close to where the food is pinched, etc. But, my gold flake maroon pair are vicious. I had a pair of regular gold maroons for years and the female would bite me occasionally, but this pair is awful. They both bite me a dozen times in a matter of seconds, and it does sting a bit, which is scary because I'd say the female is only half grown at most. Lol

None of my fish bite me actually! (5 clownfish, 1 filefish and many more peacful fish), when I put my hand in, they aren’t scared of it, they act like it’s a rock and don’t even bother it lol. They are too sweet!

My black ocellaris used to bite and whack me with her tail, but now that I'm pregnant, she leaves me alone! SO WEIRD. I also had a savage lawnmower years back. Would bite, and not let go. Accidently flung her out of the tank once.

I HAD a blue damsel that used to bite. He made me hate damsels with a passion. Now hes the lfs’s problem. My clown bites but its like a little nibble and doesn’t feel bad, its more like a curiosity nibble to see what i am.

As other has stated my clownfish is no joke once my hand goes in tank it’s not stop nipped at me. I will try to push her away but does absolutely nothing. She will keep on coming. I have been bit more times by her but it still scares me a little especially if I take me eyes of her and don’t expect it.

My three year old maroon clown. She has two bubble tips and she will die for them!!!! I cant get near her water. she's so aggressive my girlfriend named her jalapeno and she has her own system.

My pair of azure damsels like to have a go but they are normally protecting eggs. My dot dash blenny also has a nibble when it gets the chance.

When I ran a shop we had a cinnamon clown who was donated and ended up in a 8ft coral tray simply because it was the grumpiest fish I've ever met. It had an anemone and would swim the entire length of the tank to protect it everytime you put your hand in the tank.
I put a sign up telling people not to put their hands in the tank but you could hear when they didn't follow that advice:D
Yep. My azure damsels are the only ones that nip me. It doesn't hurt but it'll startle you if you don't see it coming. Lol

Maroon clown and Undulated trigger

Used to have a blue spotted puffer that would nip at my fingers when I was feeding, surprising the first several times, then I expected it. It was actually the friendliest fish for a long time. Unfortunately, it also has a voracious appetite for zoas.

Clowns they will come from opposite side of tank after my hand. I don't pull my hand back any more except the other day she jumped and bit me before my hand was in the water. Bites hard enough to leave marks.

Female blue throat trigger. Got me once and I took a pic.

Believe it or not it is my male clown! Female isn't bad at all, nor is my trigger or any of the others. If you get anywhere near his nem or act like you may come close he bites the crap out of you, he has drawn blood before too!

My Desjardin Sailfin. Basically eats out of my hand but when I’m cleaning or moving what’s been knocked over out come the scalpels!

My female clown but only when cleaning the sand bed. Any other time I put my hand in the tank she totally ignores me.
