What's the temperature range for these things? (false reading) If the water only varies between 76-85 is there something I should be concerned about, or is it level one way or the other? Thank you. :)

Correction how though? 75, 86?

It's just one of those cheap floating glass hydrometers you can find at any LFS. Somebody mentioned something to me the the other day and it just got me thinking again... That's all.

You correct it with a standard table, but you cannot do that unless you know the temperature it is calibrated to (or make a calibration solution yourself and test it). :)
