Frag system upgrade.

Awesome! Should be really cool. I'm planning on doing pretty much the same thing in my garage, but with 3 40 breeders. 2 will eventually be frag tanks and the third a dedicated refugium, but to begin with I'm planning on setting up one of the 40s to be a QT tank. I'll be doing a small DIY overflow with a durso in it, though.

I may have one of those data cables laying around... if nothing else, I could build one for you as I think I still have the cable ends, too. :) I'll dig around in my office and see if I can find it.

I found the cable I was thinking of and its not currently setup to be an RKE cable, but its brother was. I must have sent it with my RKE when I sold it. I've got several cables in gray, yellow, and black if you'd like one (or more...). Just let me know... I'm 99% sure I've still got the RJ12 cable ends at home. :)

Man, if you have some old reef junk laying around that would work.. Id surely appreciate it. that would allow me to electronically deal with it since I have an extra temp and PH probe now.

its that or take the CaRx of my Pinpoint controller and add it into my RKE. id rather have the Frag lights and pumps on the system.

Sure, I can put that cable together for you. I think its all I have leftover, though... I got rid of just about everything at the time.

Will you be coming through any time soon?

Its wet. I'm happy.

TJD, LED+Water=bad things. Hate to hear that.

So, in the tank on the right, I have an Ecoplus return pump I acquired somewhere along the way. it has ALOT of flow in it and Id say its pretty perfect for the tank. The left one has a Koralia Nano which is TOO SMALL. it also has an OLD rio pump of Unknown origin just laying in the bottom. it makes quite a racket so I may have to hotglue some sort of sound deadener to it. then it should be good. I have a nice swirly current in each tank. flow is good too. Just enough going into them to keep them at the tank temperature. I wish I had done the actual overflows in 1" but Oh well. whats done is done.

Light Coverage is very good and I think this is FINALLY the frag setup I have been looking for. Super simple, customizeable and also in itsself, Isolateable. now to get those Polyps Organized and growing. I need to have some stuff to sell at the swap.
