I have a canon T2I. Very new to it and basically have no clue how to get a nice crisp FTS Shot. What settings should I be using in the manual mode? The pics below are basically the best I could do with that :-(

Where should the following settings be?
Shutter Speed:
Aperture:
ISO Speed:
Exposure Comp:
Flash Exposure Comp:
Evaluative metering:

Anything else I am missing? Do I need to take these with a tripod since I'm not suing flash?

Thanks for any help you could offer :P

On my camera i change the setting to program mode and then do the following:

well an most canons they have under water mode, if you set it to that it makes underwater photos clearer..i usually take shots on -1 lightness because they are usually to bright

to help get a good fts turn off all other lights in the tank room, shut blids, curtains, etc. so the only light is the tank

here is a fts shot of mine(before i had any thing, ill post another one now with more coral so you can see color, clearness, etc.)
