I got in a shipment of zoas today and saw white spots on them. I am not sure if its the early stage of zoa pox or not. Anyhow, of course they are going into a tank by themself until I get it figured out.
I purchased some Furan-2 and going to dip all of the colonies just to be safe. Being that I need to make about 10 gallons of water to dip all of the zoas the Furan-2 was rather expensive.
Anyhow, can I use the dip twice? Meaning, I can make up a five gallon buket of dip, leave the coral in the Furan-2 for the recommended amount of time then use the dip again on another batch of zoas?
I did not see why this would not work but thought someone might have experience with it.
Out of the thousands of colonys of zoas that I have gotten this is the first time that I have seen seen zoa pox. But, the shipment was rather stressful!

I use a little tupperware container with about 2 cups of water and use about half the packet. I then dip the corals for 15 minutes then immediatly put them in a Pro Coral Cure dip for about 5 minuters then back int he tank. Do this once a day everyday until healed. Worked for me..

I see no reason why you can't use the dip again as long as its not sitting for a long period of time.

Thanks for the advice!! I was thinking that I could use it a couple of times. The dip would only besetting for a couple of minutes before a new batch goes in. I used 1 pack for 3 cups of water and plan to keep them in there around 15 minutes. Then they will stay in a seperate tank until I see that everything is completely gone. I have a lot of other colonies in the prop tanks and dont want to take any chances.
Thanks again!
