So my wife's favorite coral is our galaxy coral, which has done quite well for the past year or so. To date, the mother colony has just been stinging a mintipora digitata, and spawned a single pup nearby. But it's now throwing off babies throughout the tank! The pictures are hard to see, but I didn't realize this coral was such a volunteer! We euphemistically call unwanted seedlings "volunteers" in the plant world.

Do you have Pocillopora in the tank?

Actually, yes, Here's some shots, it probably is the first one, I believe it's an Ora Pink and Green Pocillipora. And that would match the baby tentacle colors; I just assumed it was the LPS because I didn't think SPS would throw off babies like that.

Pocillopora are famous for polyp bail out reproduction. They can be beautiful sps but they can take over a tank. ;Shifty
