Gate Valve not Working

Hi,

I took my gate valve apart for maintenance and now that I’ve put it all back together it no longer adjusts. The return setting is the same as before, it seems like the valve isn’t adjusting anything at all just spinning. Anyone have a solution? I’m pretty close to ditching the valve at this point. It’s just flat out useless

I would replace it. Sounds damaged.

I would if it wasn’t $80 for the replacement plumbing. Seems a bit steep for a pretty poor valve and some pvc

Is this at all in one? If so I'd replumb the sump with local plumbing items, or Bulk Reef Supply.

Unfortunately yes it all comes pre glued.

You’ve probably already checked this, but I thought I’d share anyway...

When I took mine apart a few months ago, I didn’t put it back together the right way the first time, and it didn’t work. It has to be oriented correctly, if that makes sense. There are notches in the cover that have to be aligned.
