Do I have had this coral for 2 years it’s always opened up big but I noticed yesterday that it was receding a bit this is how it looks this morning
Alk 8.3
Calcium 455
Salinity 1.025
Nitrates 7

If it just retracted and it’s been one day, I would not be concerned.
Every once in a while, mine contract and a day or two later, back to normal.
Numbers are fine.
 
agree with @Uncle99. I would keep an eye on it. If it loses a head or goes to a brown jelly.... then you have issues. Some times they will deflate either because something is annoying it, or a water condition has changed... or it is just being temperamental. Keep an eye on it...

I have a couple of clowns that found my torch and hammer colonies. At first they were a bit ticked. Now they are thriving with the clowns bouncing away in them. Every once in a while they take a day off.... but bounce right back.
