Gorilla crab?

Went to put some water in my return and found this guy for the first time in my refugium. Claws are pointed. Almost looks like a small stone

crab or something to me.

Doesn't look fuzzy like a gorilla crab. I'd have to agree with your stone crab id

Not a gorilla crab, but certainly appears to be a xanthid sp. crab. I'd probably keep him in the refugium anyway, even a gorilla crab can't do too much harm there.

SUMP MONSTER!

I always try and keep something like this in my sump. Does a great job helping to break down deposits, food that flows over, etc.

Just remember he's in there when you go running your hand around the sump

Thanks for the comments. Ill definitely keep him down there for now. I was just surprised to see him!
