Hello reefers,

My tank is 3 months old ( 5 months including cycle) and on its way to becoming mature. I think this green algea is part of the maturing process and as far as I know, letting it be is the best thing to do. Just wanted to get an opinion about the same to make sure I don't affect anything in the process. There is a 20G worth CUC from reef cleaners, 5 trochus snails and 3 nassarius vibux for clean up. Any thing else I need to do to make sure all inhabitants are healthy?

Parameters: nitrate 5, phosphate 0.25, calcium 420, alkalinity 8, PH 8 and has been stable at this level for at least 2 months.

Everything looks normal and just part of maturing. Just keep an eye on nutrients and maintain water changes.

Thank you so much! By any chance is this the same algae that turns into coralline algae over time?
