In cleaning my Tunze Nanostream pump I found some green bubble algae on the inlet grid.
This is the second time I have found the algae there.
I don't see the algae anywhere else in my tank.
Is there a way to keep the algae from growing back on the pump?

Phosphate is .14
Nitrate is 0
32 gal Biocube

Take the pump out and scrub it with hydrogen peroxide and a tooth brush. Rinse and return to tank.

It's growing somewhere & carried by the flow to the intake. Find the source & remove it.If it's growing on a rock say, in the refugium get that rock out of the tank !

It is growing somewhere and being carried by the flow to the intake.
Pulled a pretty good chunk out last night off the inflow.
It would appear to be growing underneath the rock structure so there will be no way for me to get to it.
