Green Killing Machine Question

I currently have a 150G aquarium and I recently purchased the above mentioned to clear my green water. My water was VERY green for about 3 weeks, I purchased this and within two days everything was clear. Should I run this 24/7 or do I just run it when the lights are on?

Although I don’t use one on my reef tank I do use a 9watt version on my FW Planted tank. I’ve got it running 12 on/off only due to the bulbs only being effective for about 6-7 months or so. Otherwise I’d run it 24/7 if you don’t mind replacing the bulb more often.
