Hairy Sea Hare

they say they are toxic is this true
If you stress them out they can release a toxin, just don't squeeze or shake it lol...I have had a couple of them, never had any problem's, well mabey some rearranging of unattached coral..lol... Good luck!!
 
kind of a catch 22. they eat the H A but they need pristine water quality to survive and generally you get H A when something is off with your po4 and no3

I have a sea hare and he is doing a bang up job on algae. And not just the hair algae. Hes eating pretty much everything. I'm sure my water quality is not perfect, who's is, anyway, hes been doing great. No problems with any toxins. I have even picked him up and moved him a few times.
