I just upgraded to a larger tank, livestock has been in for a week. Everything is healthy and happy with the exception of a small hammer frag. It withdrew and hasn’t come out in the week, the last couple of days it looked like it was trying to extend.
I came home today and it was gone with the exception of a mass of white “stuff” on the rock across from where he was . I feel bad whenever I lose a coral and usually I know the problem but I have no idea what this is and what caused it.

Would you circle it? I’m struggling to find it I might be blind though LOLL

Oh man that's way past my editing skills, but the white mass in the middle of the photo is what the result is.

The white mass, I'm assuming it's the remnants of the hammer, is attached to the right hand rock as we're looking at it. The skeleton is on the left hand rock. You can't see it.

I'm just going to leave everything as is, honestly in this hobby that usually is the right thing to do. I am curious as to what's going to happen, I was just kind of interested in any knowledge that someone might have.
