Hanging clamp light

i just bought a clamp light and par 30 bulb for my refugium. What hardware do I need to install/hang it inside my stand?

I did something similar, but I removed the clamp and put a bolt into the crossmember of my stand and then attached the part that rotates on the ball onto the bolt I screwed into the crossmember.
If that makes sense.
I don't have a picture of it since the tank and stand is packed up for a move.
