Im currently running an old Eheim heater. I believe its a 300W (currently out of town and can't check) However my apex shows its max power consumption 307W. The heater makes up half of my power consumption. Curious if changing to a newer or larger heater will save me money long term? For example if the titaniums are more efficient I wouldn't mind making the swap. Plus my Eheim heater is huge. I would appreciate any input or suggestions. Im running a Reefer 525

Heaters are generally rated at a specific wattage so even if you switch to a titanium version you're still going to be drawing the same wattage from the heater. Heaters are generally a major portion of the power consumption so can't get around that, but you can check out the dimensions to suit your needs.
